Integrative Therapy Center offers multimodal multiculturally-competent psychotherapy services to adults, adolescents and couples. We offer individualized treatment to help the diverse needs of professionals in the corporate world, people who work in creative fields, people of color, students and immigrants.

Juan Robles-Gil Aleman LMHC MT-BC

I am determined to be completely real and honest with you. Feel free to ask me questions about myself or about the process of therapy. I would like for you to feel like you are talking to a human being and not just a clinician who sees you as a box or a percentage. My goal is that you experience a warm and empathic connection with me despite the goal oriented nature of my work.

Therapy work extends beyond the therapy room, and the limits of your progress lie within your choices, and in some cases, chemical imbalances that require medication management. Accountability is very important in the work that we will do as will the acceptance of the things we cannot change. If I can help you, and you are willing to put in the often uncomfortable work that therapy requires, I am confident you will find the therapy experience rewarding.

Juan specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, panic attacks, grief, OCD, relationship/marital issues, cultural adjustment and trauma. He was raised in a multicultural home in Mexico City and immigrated to the United States on his own 10 years ago. He is trauma informed and kink/poly/trans/LGBQ affirming. He practices using an integrative approach drawing from various styles and modalities to better tailor the therapy experience of each client to meet their needs and rhythm. Juan can provide therapy in English or Spanish and is competent working with children, adolescent and adults (individuals, and couples). He is a New York State licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Board-Certified Music Therapist.
